hello whoa this blog has been really dead.. =\ why nobody updates anymore. i hope i'm not talking to air.

anyway just leaving a mark here to tell everyone to jiayou! don't let whatever setbacks or failures deter you from moving on. prelims and As are drawing quite near. i believe we can make it as a class, there's lots of potential. and i'm glad to see our class getting a 'V good' for the comment made regarding our marked improvement in our physics results. haha although most of us like laughed it off, isn't it quite heartening to know that we can do even better? so yups, believe in yourselves too and be smart alright =)

hey alrights i'll give my recount of class chalet through the eyes of chinnie who was there throughout the entire chalet stay from 22 nov to 24 nov. :) i'm glad i stayed till the end though. and despite the dreary cloudy weather plus the rain that kind of confined us indoors mostly, i think overall we still had fun and enjoyed ourselves in our very own ways. pictures here.

22 NOVEMBER, TUESDAY (DAY 1)

it was pouring cats and dogs since early early in the morning and the rain hadn't stopped at lunchtime. :(

siangyong, chingli, huiling, cherie and xinhui met up for lunch at white sands pasir ris, then proceeded for grocery shopping at fairprice supermarket to purchase our bbq equipment and food supplies. i met up with them there when they were already paying up for the stuff, and helped them transport some of the stuff to downtown east. meanwhile stanley helped us settle the check-in procedures and stuff at downtown east.

i think we all were quite blur as to how to get to downtown east. i thought bus 403 goes there and huiling thought 358 goes there. soon enough we were on the wrong bus, bus 358. actually it wasn't very wrong cos it did stop at the bus stop outside aranda, beside downtown east, and through which we could have walked through sheltered to downtown east. but we missed that stop and ended up sitting in the bus for another loop till it dropped opposite the aranda entrance. walked in the rain to cross the road and then through an open air carpark to the sheltered aranda area, then through the downtown east marquee to meet stanley at the barney area so that he can take us to the chalet.

upon reaching the chalet we packed the food stuffs and all into the fridge and settled down. the girls started playing cards. i was stoning, quite bored, and it was still raining so couldn't really go outdoors. joined in for a few games of daidee though, but i was still bored cos i don't quite enjoy card games. chased siangyong to marinate the chicken wings but she was too engrossed in the card games. but soon after she and i were in the toilet sink with the aluminium trays defrosting the chicken wings and washing them thoroughly before i left siangyong alone to do the marinating. quite funny la, hearing siangyong screaming when i accidentally/clumsily splashed the wash-chicken-water when pouring it down the sink too hard, and hearing siangyong exclaim at how one chicken wing still has a feather on it.

soon zhenghan came. guy company for stanley. the girls continued playing card games. then zhenghan, stanley and i went to run an errand to get charcoal, fire starters and detergent. we walked around and explored the downtown east area as well. it was quite crowded there cos it was already nearing dinner time and it was raining. returned back to chalet to slack around and wait before making another trip out to book pit when the rain became less heavy and setting up fire was possible.

later in the evening more guys came: hongwei, cheeyen, pinyuan. some 1st intakers also came: xinwei, jin and yanting. the guys helped to start the fire. the wire mesh we bought from fairprice was too small, and the margarine that siangyong brought had already turned mouldy at one side, so we ran a few errands again to get wire mesh and margarine. finally after using many fire starters and charcoal, the fire was suitable to start cooking.

on the pit went the chicken wings first, followed by sotong balls, sausages, crab sticks and taiwan sausage. into the charcoal area went the sweetcorn and sweet potato. overall the food was not too bad la... though some chicken got chaota and the sotongballs at the end of the stick didn't get really cooked (cold and moist inside). i mean you can't really expect a lot from barbecue food, so as long as there's sufficient to fill our stomachs it'll be fine.

after that i went with tiff, zhiru and van to walk around downtown east. we sat at macs for a short while, van and zhiru went to eat ice cream. returned back to the chalet and i was feeling very tired already. so i got ready to sleep. the rest were i think watching tv or playing card games. the guys were just sprawling all over the beds.

i slept for a while from 11pm to 12plus. apparently the guys were watching soccer and they made a lot of noise but i slept through everything. woke up at 12plus feeling hungry, and to find a very empty and quiet room. the guys left to go somewhere else to talk. the girls were barbecuing outside the chalet and finishing up the food. i ate my chocolate twiggies for supper and watched the rest outside barbecuing.

the guys soon returned and vodka was bought. then we all went outside to sit on the stone benches + table, trying vodka concoctions. i tasted a bit of it with sprite but bleah i think it was quite horrible. =X tiffany, xinran and zhenghan are like the power drinkers! whoa the alcohol percentage is like super high man, the whole thing smells like those enthanol solution from the science labs. after a short drinking session and seeing people turning red and going high (and immoral huh), we returned to our room to watch some soccer match at 3.35am. i went back to sleep again for a while. wondered what the rest did. after the match the tv went off and we all arranged ourselves to sleep on the beds that were meant for only at most 4 people staying overnight. the lower mattresses at the sides had 3 people squeezing on them, the 2 beds joined together in the centre had like 7 people squeezing on it. leaving siangyong who sat sleeping leaning against the fridge cos got no more space.

zzzzzz. we knocked out soon after.

23 NOVEMBER, WEDNESDAY (DAY 2)

snoozey. all woke up reluctantly. i think i woke up at about 8+am. the girls played card games again. waited for each other until all was done, before going off to bk to eat breakfast. the guys went off to play soccer after that. girls decided to go back to room and rest, plus tiffany wasn't exactly feeling very well. i saw the sun was up, so went for a short swim. after which the dark clouds moved in again. went back to chalet to see if anyone still wants to cycle, but it rained shortly afterwards.

was stuck in the chalet room. two groups all playing card games. i was ultra bored! ='( occupied myself with pencil and my notebook, drew some stuff. after that siangyong, chingli, cherie, huiling and xinhui left and headed home. leaving tiffany, me and the rest of the guys. we went for lunch at the food court. then went to loan an xbox game to occupy ourselves with cos it was still raining.

dead or alive beach volleyball 3. gosh it's so amusing hahaaa, how we pay to play such boliao games. initially in the game we just went exploring the zach island thing and played hopping game all the way to earn $$ to save up for bikinis- to buy zhenghan's favourite pink piece. but we didn't know they'll just bring you out of the island after 15 days, so that task wasn't achieved. zhiru and fiona came to join us in the afternoon, and then we played the actual volleyball game. at first we just anyhow whack to play cos we don't know the controls and all. subsequently we got more and more pro hahaha.

went off to help s15 get certain last minute bbq stuff from cheers and deliver it to them by meeting them at a common midpoint - the pasir ris coasta sands entrance. we s21 people then went off for dinner at macs. i bought happy meal! =) the toy quite cute la, the fox can flip 360 degrees up in the air for a short while and then land back on its feet though sometimes it topples. dinner was fine... quite funny also cos when we ordered the person at the counter didn't ask if we want any sauce and we forgot to ask also. so when we got to our table we realised we didn't have sauce, so we asked the last 2 guys zhenghan and stanley who were buying their food to get sauce for us. zhenghan only had to get 1 sweet and sour sauce and 1 tartar sauce for me and tiff. worse one was stanley haha... with 4 ketchup, sweet chilli, curry sauce etc.

after that we took a long walk and made our way to aloha loyang to meet up with the s15 people. my, their chalet is so big!! and it's by the poolside. sat around a bit and talked/watched/eat. zhiru, van and fiona also played with a stray cat there. after that weiran came. the s15 people plotted to dunk him to the pool, so when he was walking to the chalet the s15 guys went up to him, took off his belongings and lifted him off the ground. but he was really strong, managed to fight off the 5 people who lifted him off. then when haowen they all almost succeeded in lifting him off and throwing him in already, xinran was there to help his brother. so in the end no one got dunked. don't play play with wushu/taekwondo people!

anyway there was the short cake-cutting farewell ceremony thing. then whipped cream was sprayed on the twins! hahaha. on their hair and their shirts. looks like bird shit man. smells buttery though. after which the s21 guys went off to play soccer with the s15 guys. 5 of us girls went to wade in the pool which had this section that was 0.3m deep only. and took quite a lot of photos.

wanted to go to the beach but the aloha side gate was already locked. so ended up taking a long stroll back to our chalet as fiona had to take her stuff and go off. after fiona left, we stayed in our room and continued playing the dead or alive beach volleyball 3. hongwei and cheeyen devised how to use the fireball move to thrash opponent, so we all learnt and started trying to thrash each other hahaha. soon enough, qing1 chu1 yu2 lan3 (apprentice become better than the master), we all got more pro at the game. took turns to bathe, then after tiffany bathed, she continued with the game and began thrashing everyone real badly... wow. some superpowers there must be.

when everyone showered finish we turned off the xbox and started moving out to the stone benches/tables to have small talks and drinking session... hongwei fell asleep already. the rest of us ate cup noodles for supper. and drank funny concoctions. there was vodka, coke, f&n orange, lemon tea and green tea. tiffany was our bartender! played zong1 ji2 mi4 ma3 (guess the number game) at first but no kick la cos the drink concoctions can't get anywhere disgusting or gross, and in fact like xinran said, it was really nice. continued talking and talking as a group. some silly bunch of people at the chalet 2nd storey one kept coming out to the balcony and kajiaoing us... at first it was some dare they did, then some of them smoked, then we heard vulgarities from them... then they went in and told us to sleep early don't sleep too late kinda thing. quite funny but irritating la.

we were all still quite sober except maybe for stanley who was really shutting down already... runny nose and sleepy eyes. then when he went back to the room to go toilet he never came back, so we guessed he must have went to bed. anyway we talked about like everything under the sun. it was really interesting la, and we really got to know a bit of each other better. :) and i guess these kind of stuff really develop more mutual understandings.

slowly we went back to the room at about 5am. sprawled over the beds and continued chatting. pinyuan was the first one to knock out. followed by stanley i think who had been trying to fall asleep for quite some time. then slowly zhiru fell asleep. then followed by me. and i guess xinran and zhenghan fell asleep too. then van and tiff continued talking until 6am+ when they woke xinran up and walked him to the mrt station cos his sense of direction damn poor and early in the morning got no bus 354 yet. i woke up right after they returned cos my feet were freezing and i was shivering... aircon was at 25deg but fan was blowing then it became really cold.

24 NOVEMBER, THURSDAY (DAY 3)

i got woken up by stanley's alarm. he woke up at around 8+am cos he needed to leave at 9+am. the rest were still sleeping soundly heh. tiff and van went to the bed and caught some short sleep after i moved away and zhiru made space for them. packed and cleared up stuff... then slacked around waiting for everyone to be done before we all checked out. crap la the weather turned sunny and good on the day we were to check out! the key drop system for checking out quite cool i think. then all of us went to eat breakfast at the foodcourt. whoa the kaya toast sucked. exp and not very nice to eat. later we made our way home via mrt... goodbye.

Yo! I know that not many people would come and read this entry, but anyway, the pan for the chalet days, 22,23 and 24 Nov is as follows:

22: check in day ( BBQ day)
We are buying food for the BBQ on this day itself, so people who are interested to help out can meet at Pasir Ris MRT station at 12pm. We will be having lunch first (tentatively plan) before going NTUC (White Sands) to buy the food. Then, we'll check in after 2.30pm, so people who are not buying food can come maybe after 2.30pm. We will be having BBQ as dinner.

23: Free and Easy
Basically, there are no plans for this day, so we'll most probably decide on the day itself or something, but most probably either going Escape, Wild Wild Wet, use chalet facilities, play other stuff or just stone in chalet. I don't think we'll be going Orcahard or someplace to shop. We may have pizza for dinner, unless we have other plans.

24: Check out day
We have to check out latest 10.30am, so people just hurry up and don't waste time, if not a full day charge will be imposed. We can all finally go home and sleep.

Above are the plans for the chalet. By the way, there are 2 free Escape and WWW, so we'll settle that later. 05S21 people, including 1st intakers are welcomed. Of course, you can invite your friends too.

Charge: Overnight stay: $ 15
BBQ only: $5
Only come during the day: $10
These charges are temporary. I will calculate again after chalet and return or collet money. However, please bring the money to the chalet so that we can pay to my parents, and people who contributed in paying for the food. Oh yes, please try to contribute in paying for the food, cos I have not enough money and class fund is quite short of money too. See ya!!

Yoyo! i've finally booked the chalet for the nov hols... its costa sands, downtown east... i noe its like not much ppl one coasta sands, bt there nt much choice... anw, its on the 22,23,24 Nov... 3D/2N... so ppl pls come..haha... not veri sure wat we will be having ... as in like BBQ or wat... tt i'll confirm later.... bt ya.. juz try to keep the days free... then i booked the deluxe one.. i tink onli gt tt... tt means its wif the X-box console and dunno whether it includes DVD player... its $188 for the whole ting... so ppl when u come juz bring enuf $$.... ya... tts all for now... cya...

YAY the dreaded promos are over!!! :)
hahaha CORPSE BRIDE on wednesday was good. to those who havent watched CORPSE BRIDE pls go watch it k! it's worth your money and it's a great show.
and we found that some guys are quite suakus! haha just kidding la. but like, never go plaza singapura before... never take neoprints before... can easily get lost in orchard road... what do you all do? mug everyday? poor things. =P
anw the neoprints are like super funny la. especially the guys- goodness see already can laugh one. =D and pinyuan's too tall to go into the machine!

oh and i really don't mind going to the changi chalet no matter how scary it may look. we've got safety in numbers. and yeah i stayed before last year nothing really scary la, just dark and uluated. haha. we can always have our own nightwalk around the changi area =P

Yo! so happy exams over rite... haha.. so shld hv tt kind of mood to go out rite... haha.... ya... i noe.. muz be tinking tt my exam gg to fail(touchwood) blah blah blah.. where got time? haha... bt muz tink tt since the exam is over, we cant change anything rite... so instead of thinking so much, might as well go out and hv fun!!! haha... hmm... i'm like thinking too much...haha..

so the main pt is lets hv a class outing!!! haha.. best day shld bt on youth day.. no cca, no sch or watever... so can go out and bond 2gt as a class... haha.. i noe tis is like abit last min... haha.. bt hopefully u can like make urself free on tt dae or sth...haha... so gt any suggestions to any palce juz sae..haha.. cos i reali dunno wat u all want to do..haha.. then muz speak up for wat u wan rite.. haha...

Yo... so hows the hol so far... haha.. anyway, went to toy r us todae... then i saw tis reali nice ting tt i tink we can buy as a class... maybe u all will find it wasteful or wat bt nvm...haha... its called sea monkey, where u can raise the tiny sea monkey in a container they provide... haha.. i rmb last time whn i m in like pri sch oso got such ting... haha... its nt veri big and looks quite nice and fun... since we cld nt hv a big class pet, then y nt we hv this ting instead... haha... its like guaranteed to live for at least 2 yrs.. it cost like 20+... haha.. depends on wat kind of container u buy... so if u all got any comments juz say... u all can go check it out if u happen to like pass by a toy r us... haha...

haha.. fianlly settle on someting for the outing le.. haha.. aniwae, its on thurs, 2nd june.. we meeting at 9.30 at bedok mrt station... we will take a bus there.. so bring ur bus pass along.. sounds stupid.. haha..

k.. brief plan is to play cum lunch till sae ard 3 to 4+...after tt we go watch movie... after movie we shall go marina there to eat tt steamboat cum bbq dinner... similar to seoul garden... so ppl bring enuf money wif u.. haha... for ppl who cant gt sth on in morning or watever can still join in or go off earlier.. haha. bt try to be there... haha... cya...

haha... u all wan to hv a class outing during june? actuali is muz hv one lah... haha... aniwae, plan is in east coast, where ppl can go beach, cycle, skate, bowl, pool etc...haha... then maybe meet early in the morning, play, eat lunch, play again till sae 3 or 4+.. haha.... after tt can go watch movie, preferably madagascar... haha.. cos i wan watch... haha... then can hv dinner or go home... haha..

hey all, it's my very very first entry here. :)
just wanna say that NJ AQUA 05S21 rocks!!

thank you for making my stay in NJ fun and beautiful, thank you for being my friends and for making me feel belonged, and thank you for making me feel welcomed especially during the first 2 weeks here when i was still quite sad and reluctant to open up. but you all are like really nice people! it was nice getting to know the girls and interacting with you all, and it was indeed fun to have the class guys joking around and being funny during lessons. lightens up the atmosphere!

anyway, can someone put up the lyrics of the aqua house cheers too? :) i want to see and learn.

and this blog layout is cute, but abit fanciful though. haha. nvm next time i can still do one big-bird one. yesyes, the bigbird with round eyes and big yellow fluffy feathers with pink rings around the orange legs. =P *runs away before siangyong comes after me* haha.

oh yeah... one interesting event. siangyong bigbird got freaked by her cousin smallbird. you know the bird's nest on this plant that is in the area in front of the hall (where the cca noticeboards are), one day when walking past it, bigbird saw this little bird's head peeking out from the nest... so cute so cute. the beak so sharp and the eyes so black and shiny... so we stopped to look. and all of a sudden, the bird just flew out of the hole of the nest and scared our bigbird to bits! haha!

well.. today was the last day our class is as wad we knew it for the first 3 months.. n its pretty sad actually.. i really regret not asking the whole class to go out.. like so many other classes did..everyone just went their own separate paths.. which is pretty sad..i cant help thinking of the time we spent together..n the first few days of orientation.. getting to noe each other.. n even the times in class where we bullied the teachers..really wish things din have to change..

but it iS also going to be a whole new beginning..new class new frens.. tho i hope things stay pretty much the same.. well.. hopefully.. but.. i really hope tt this blog wun die? tho its alr q dead w only me blogging..i wonder if any of u will come here ever again.. the thot of it makes me sad alr.. sigh..but well.. all the best to everyone..

haish... now that we have our results i bet many of us are in dilemmas whether to stay anot..was toking to some ppl and i realise many are unsure whther they wanna leave for greener pasture out there..and before toking to someone.. i was totally convinced that i love 05S21 n that it rocked n that anyone wud like it..

but now.. i realise.. to some ppl its q segregated into groups.. its true..but i also realise sth. tho there are cliques and stimes some ppl do not participte actively.. at the end of the day i still love our class..cuz we stand for each other.. esp when some teachers bully someone..we'll always defend that person.. or when we try to bargain.. we support each other.. well maybe this is just my personal opinions and some of u dun agree..

those 6 pters.. good for u.. n i noe its natural that u wanna go elsewhere..n nth we say can really affect ur decision la.. esp if u dun really love the class. n hu's to say tt we',ll still be in the same class anw.. but.. just think a lil bit more.. n see if nj means tt little to u..

but once again.. hope u all can make a decision u wun regret.. n all the best wherever we maybe aft 1st 3 mths..

hahaz.. since today's contact time was abt making decisions i just decided to post this entry..

as many of u noe.. im quite sure im staying in nj already.. partly cuz of band partly cuz im used to it.. but one of the major reasons.. is cuz of the class.. as irritating as things may get stimes.. i still love our class..yup.. 05s21 roCks! hmm i was just wondering.. how many of u are really staying in nj.. tho ive asked many of u.. the reply i get are normally things like "i duno..", "not decided yet.." i noe there's still time.. but i smhow feel quite sad.. cuz if i really stay in nj.. but like more than half [or half] the class is no longer arnd..it wud be a really sad thing.. wud really miss u ppl..

but i guess most of u wanna go some place better rite? like maybe hc or rj.. n some wanna pursue ur interests in poly.. well.. since its wad u like.. guess all i can say is all the best?
